EdouardAlDahdah

Hi, I'm Edouard Al-Dahdah.

I was born and raised in the Middle Eastern country of Lebanon, but have been living on and off in the USA since 2000. I am married, and we have three children. I am a third-generation Arabian Horse breeder, following my father, General Salim al-Dahdah, and my grandfather, Edouard al-Dahdah Sr.

My family has bred Arabian horses in Lebanon and Syria for decades, and sold them when I came to the US. I currently own one Arabian mare, Wisteria CF, which is of Davenport bloodlines, and have an interest in two others. I have been a speaker at Al Khamsa conventions in 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2009, and at the 2010 National Breeders Conference of the Pyramid Society. I have spent many months touring the desert with Bedouins and other horse lovers, photographing, documenting and researching desert-bred Arabian horse. I am writing a book about the Arabian horse in its original homeland, sponsored by Al Khamsa. It is my fourth year as a Board member: a childhood dream come true. I look forward to working with you during this year.
