Jill Erisman

Jill Erisman is a second-generation Al Khamsa Arabian horse breeder who lives with her husband, Chris Dadds, in Spencer, Indiana. She, along with her mother Pam Studebaker, and Deborah Switzer have been principals of Saqlawiyat Arabians in Trotwood, Ohio, since 1986. She studied bloodlines, photographs and traveled to see Arabian horses well before that. Her mentors in Arabian horses almost all came from Al Khamsa. She began attending the national convention around 1981, which seems just a few years ago. These supporters nurtured her equine interests, and greatly expanded her knowledge through their incredible patience and generosity to a “horse-crazy kid.” The opportunity to serve on the board enables her to give back to Al Khamsa, which inspires her as a continuing student of these amazing Arabian horses.
