A Saqlawi Jidran. Also called Halabi.
NOTES: The RAS History, p37 describes El Halabi as sired by Saklawi I and out of Halabia who was from Abu Amin's stables. El Halabi is shown only as the name of the sire of Bint Obeya (KDV) in the 1932 certified pedigree of *Bint Bint Sabbah from the Royal Agricultural Society.
The date is an Al Khamsa estimate. El Halabi was used by the Khedive and Halabia was said to have been in his stud, so it is probable that the Khedive was the breeder. [See under Halabia (KDV)]
