NOTES: The above information is from an early herd book of Prince Mohamed Aly. In this entry, her name is spelled Nadrah, and her sire is spelled Nadir.

The 1932 certified pedigree for *Bint Bint Sabbah from the Royal Agricultural Society shows Nadra El Kebira as a Dahmah mare by Nader out of "Dahma, Stud of Ali Pasha Sherif." The RAS History, p33, shows a birthdate of 1891. Lady Anne Blunt [J&C, 12/22/1908] describes Nadra El Kebira as a grey Dahmah Shahwaniyah that Prince Mohamed Aly had recently gotten from the Khedive. Khedive Abbas II inherited his father Tewfik's stud in 1892, which included El Dahma, a gift from Ali Pasha Sharif.
