A Dahmah Shahwaniyah. Purchased from the breeder's son, Othman Bey Sharif, in 1906 by Wilfrid and Lady Anne Blunt and imported to England in 1910 by the Blunts. Died 1916. Also called Azz.

Raswan Index entry #1067 for Azz II (Bint Bint Azz) and #1413 for Bint Azz gives the Ibn Nura (Shamrukh/Nura El Kebira) described under Bint Azz as the sire of both Bint Azz (APS) and Bint Bint Azz. It is unlikely that a horse foaled in 1849 was the sire of a mare foaled in 1895, the date for Bint Bint Azz. The only foal to perpetuate a line from Bint Bint Azz was Sahab, produced while the mare was owned by Othman Bey Sharif.
