A Pre-Registration Horse
A Dahman Shahwan of the marbat of al-Najib. Purchased from his breeder by Wilfrid and Lady Anne Blunt in 1896 and imported to England in 1897. Sold to J.H. Leigh in 1900, later sold to Ireland. Also called Ibn Mahruss.
